"My wife and I recently set sail aboard the Drinkwater for our first sail. Our experience aboard the Drinkwater - St. John’s largest sailboat - was absolutely wonderful.

Captain Matt picked us up from Cruz Bay and brought us on board. The sailboat is beautiful and extremely well maintained. Captain Matt clearly has a passion for sailing and it shows. The ship is very sizeable with ample seating.

Shortly after underway, Chef Tmana served a charcuterie of meats, cheeses, crackers, papaya, and apple. Absolutely delicious. Drinkwater offers a dinner cruise and my wife and I would definitely love to do that on our next trip.

We also did a wonderful snorkel and then capped it off with rum punch as we had a leisurely sale back to Cruz Bay. Captain Matt and Chef Tmana were very welcoming, friendly, and answered all of our questions with ease. I highly recommend a trip on the Drinkwater!"

"We sail each visit to St. John but this was our first experience sailing on the Drinkwater with Captain Matt and Chef Tmana. The day exceeded our expectations. Both Matt and Tmana were gracious hosts aboard their beautiful boat. We snorkeled at two different locations and Chef Tmana made us a delicious lunch in between the two snorkels. To sum up the day, Perfect! We will definitely be sailing with them again! Hopefully this week!!!!!"

"We had a wonderful time with Matt and Tmana doing a sail on perfect evening. One of our elderly friends had onot been on a sailboat. He and has wife agreed that it was everything they could hope for. Matt carefully helped the 4 of us into the dingy and easily onto the sailboat. He gave clear, easy directions. Tmana served "boat drinks" with other options and a lovely tray of tapas. The boat is solid and stable without the abrupt sail movement we've experienced with previous sailing. It was very relaxing. "My wife and I had an amazing afternoon and sunset sail on Drinkwater with Matt and Tmana. The yacht is a beautiful blue water passage maker, very stable and clearly professionally maintained. Matt has many miles under his keel crossing oceans and has lived in the Virgin Islands for years and knows all the good spots to drop anchor and snorkel. Tmana, a professional chef, kept the Tapas and beverages coming up from the galley, along with helping sail the boat. On the business end, it was a pleasure communicating with Matt. He quickly answered my texts and questions about what excursions were available to fit the trip we were looking for and came through in a big way. The entire experience was very personalized. We never felt like just another “customer”. They were both gracious and caring and wanted to make sure we were happy during the entire trip.

"Fabulous day aboard a beautiful, large, sturdy 50 ft sailboat. Sailboat is spacious and super comfortable. snorkeled and saw starfish, lobster, squid etc. lunch stop at Pizza Pi. Beautiful sunset. You are in extremely capable hands w Capt Matt and Tmana is a fabulous cook-had some of her homemade bread which she made on the boat. We have been going to St. John for 20 years and definitely the best day sail experience we have had. We will be back!"
